Please join us on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 for our August club meeting at the State Building Auditorium, 6150 Van Nuys Blvd. **The parking meter enforcement time has been extended until 8:00 pm. Make sure you bring at least $1 in change to feed the meters until 8:00.**

We will consider an endorsement in the City Council District 2 race. Credentials will close at 7:30. You must be signed in by 7:30 in order to vote.

We'll watch excerpts from a video about the death penalty and talk about efforts in the California Democratic Party to include a death penalty moratorium and/or ban in the party platform.

We have two different charity drives that we'll be collecting for:
Please bring new, unworn socks and gently used shoes for the homeless. And bring toiletries, preferably small hotel and travel sizes, for the Mary Magdalene Project.
