Please join us on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 for our August club meeting at the State Building Auditorium, 6150 Van Nuys Blvd. **The parking meter enforcement time has been extended until 8:00 pm. Make sure you bring at least $1 in change to feed the meters until 8:00.** We will consider an endorsement in the City Council District 2 race. Credentials will close at 7:30. You must be signed in by 7:30 in order to vote. We'll watch excerpts from a video about the death penalty and talk about efforts in the California Democratic Party to include a death penalty moratorium and/or ban in the party platform. As always it will take place at the State Building Auditorium, 6150 Van Nuys Blvd. Remember to bring change for the parking meters! Here's what we have on the agenda: Plan to stay past the meeting so we can do phone banking for Paul Krekorian. Bring your charged cell phone! For those people would rather not make phone calls we'll be putting together giveaway kits for Planned Parenthood. We'll provide lunch!
